Sour grapes implies jealousy or misplaced blame.

Kartheiser says he disliked working on AtS for many reasons, and that leaving was a good thing for them and for him. In addition to saying he was annoyed at his lack of input into the character he played, he also talks about not feeling like he performed the way they'd hoped. He said it felt like everyone was just punching a time clock, himself included.

Looks like accepting responsibility to me. Even though IMO, none of it was really his, because come on. Written into a corner, much?

I am so glad he is happy on Madmen. He's a damn good actor and it's a damn good show and he deserves success.

Also, I'd pay 100$ to hear Charisma Carpenter come out with this kind of honesty about what really went down those last couple of seasons.

And has no one else noticed that Boreanaz, Gellar and Marsters all look 10 years younger now that they're not working for ME?

Amen. I'll chip in for that one. It's interesting to see the changes in the energy levels post show. By the end of Buffy, the cast definitely seemed to be tired and ready. Same with Angel, as much as I miss those shows, they were ready to be over.

I think the show of Angel had life left, but, sadly, the cast didn't.

Angel definitley (I can NEVER spell that word right. Where's my spell check?) had more remaining potential then Buffy. I especially liked the dynamic between Wesley and Illyria, but there was something missing for me overall. Maybe that's it -- the cast lost their fire for the characters and the show.

I have, however, enjoyed the few episodes of Bones that I've seen and I am always surprised at how much I have come to adore Mad Men.

I've noticed that. Not so much with Sarah as with James and David.


Angel will alwas be my favorite show, but it hurts to think the actors felt that awful. And I appreciate VK's honesty while agreeing that it wasn't his fault.

I really need to watch MM.
